Telco General Labourer(s) / Directional Drill / Hydro Vac / Mini Excavator Operator(s) with AZ - DZ license

Cable Control Systems Inc. (CCS) is a rapidly growing contractor in the Utility and Telecom industries. We currently have immediate openings for experienced Vac, Directional Drilling, Mini Excavator Operators and Laborer's in the Oakville and surrounding area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate mini excavator/skid steer, Vac, and Directional drills and general Labourers.
Install telecommunications cables/vaults underground.
Reading and interpreting plans and locates.
Perform construction tasks using rakes and shovels.
Lay pipe and PVC conduit and install associated fibre cable.
Load and unload equipment and cable trailers.
Must wear all applicable Personal Protective Equipment provided as job function dictates.




Able to manage a physically demanding workload, which includes heavy lifting, digging etc.
Able to work in all weather conditions.
Able to work various shifts (days, evenings, weekends) to meet business needs.
Self-motivated, demonstrated effective decision-making skills with limited supervision.
Able to plan, organize and thrive in a quick-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Able to effectively work in a team setting.
Must follow safe work practices and abide by all safety rules and regulations.
Other duties as assigned.

Candidates with a clean valid AZ or DZ drivers license need only apply.
