Cornerstone is a wedding, catering, and events company dedicated to celebrating life's greatest moments. We are currently hiring banquet servers to work on a part time casual basis through to the end of October. Our Servers are scheduled to work at any of our three locations at Cornerstone Theatre and at the Canmore Nordic Centre, and may also work off-site catered events.

Previous experience working as a banquet or restaurant server would be an asset but is not required. A valid, current ProServe certificate is required to work in this position. We are looking for individuals who are customer-focused, punctual, and reliable. Serving staff must be available to work weekends and be available to work at least one closing shift per week. This role involves being on your feet for most of your shift (up to 8 hours), lifting up to 10kg, twisting, and bending down.

Duties of the job include clearing used dishes, silverware,



and glasses from the tables to the kitchen, serving food to guests, such as appetizers and plated meal service, replenishing items at guest tables and the buffet table, answering guests queries about the venue and the food, helping the bartender at the bar if required, packing away decorations following an event, stripping the tables of linens, and removing and disposing of garbage at the end of an event.
