Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced 310T Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in heavy equipment maintenance and repair, with expertise in various machinery and systems. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse industrial equipment, including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery, ensuring optimal operation and safety. The 310T Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining equipment to meet operational standards.
Duties
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
Conduct welding and fabrication tasks as needed for repairs or modifications
Operate power tools and hand tools safely to disassemble, repair, or assemble machinery
Conduct heavy lifting operations safely using appropriate equipment
Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform electrical repairs on industrial equipment
Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed
Assist with equipment inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
Support the installation, assembly, and testing of recent machinery or components
Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair status and solutions effectively
Requirements
Proven mechanic experience with heavy equipment and industrial machinery
Dealership experience preferred but not required
Strong knowledge of Caterpillar equipment, HVAC systems, welding, and electrical systems
Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately
Experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or other industrial machinery
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
Excellent problem-solving skills with mechanical knowledge across various systems
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment
This position requires a dedicated qualified with a passion for maintaining complex machinery while ensuring safety and efficiency. Candidates should have relevant certifications or training in automotive repair, industrial maintenance, or related fields.
Pay: $23.76-$31.00 per hour
