Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring CNC laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality components according to shop drawings, specifications, and production requirements.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of laser cutting experience, robust attention to detail, and experience working with BesCutter Fly Speed and CypCut Control System.

Responsibilities
Operate CNC laser cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
Set up and operate the BesCutter Fly Speed laser cutting system.
Use the CypCut Control System to load programs, make adjustments, and monitor cutting operations.
Review shop drawings, cutting plans, and production specifications.
Verify material type, thickness, dimensions, and quantities before production.
Perform quality checks on completed parts to ensure they meet specifications.
Make basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot common operating issues.
Monitor material usage and minimize scrap where possible.
Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
Safely load, unload, and handle sheet metal and materials.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.




Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Work closely with production, fabrication, and other team members to meet production schedules.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment.
Experience with BesCutter Fly Speed is required.
Experience with CypCut Control System is required.
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
Robust attention to detail and quality.
Good mathematical and measurement skills.
Ability to use basic measuring tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills.
Reliable, safety-conscious, and dependable.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication setting is an asset.

Pay: $24.00-$29.00 per hour
