Job Summary

GEM Systems Inc. is currently seeking a hardworking, reliable, and motivated Logistics Asst. to join our team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, are organized, and are comfortable with physical work, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities
Prepare materials for shipment, including packing orders, preparing airway bills (AWBs), and completing export documentation.
Receive and inspect incoming shipments, unpack materials, and distribute them to the appropriate departments.
Lift, move, and stack boxes and cases weighing up to 50 lbs.
Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records and update databases.
Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and safe.
Assist other team members as needed.
Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.




Qualifications
Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or shipping/receiving experience is preferred.
Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs throughout the workday.
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent attendance and punctuality.
Reliable transportation to our Markham location.
Must be able to work on-site (this is not a remote position).
