Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Steward to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and organization within our food service or hospitality setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness, food safety, and supporting a seamless guest experience. Previous experience in restaurant, kitchen, or hotel settings is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. The Steward plays a vital role in ensuring that all areas are hygienic, well-maintained, and compliant with health standards.

Duties
Perform thorough cleaning of kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and food preparation areas to ensure sanitation standards are met.
Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks under supervision.
Support kitchen staff by organizing supplies and maintaining stock levels of cleaning materials and disposables.
Ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables in accordance with safety protocols.
Follow safety guidelines related to food handling, cleaning chemicals, and equipment operation.
Support overall hospitality efforts by ensuring the environment is clean, safe,



and welcoming for guests.
Help the kitchen with light food preparation duties.

Experience
Prior experience in restaurant, kitchen, or hotel environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, food safety standards, and sanitation practices is advantageous.
Experience in food service or hospitality roles such as serving or food handling can be beneficial.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential qualities.

Job Type: Part time

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
