DZ Residential Driver/Loader
Location: Owen Sound, ON
Pay Rate: $29.05/hour
We are currently hiring a DZ Residential Driver/Loader for our Owen Sound operations. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a team that delivers essential residential services.
Schedule
Monday to Friday
Start times: 6:00 AM, 6:30 AM, or 7:30 AM
Estimated 30 hours per week
Hours may vary based on operational needs and route volumes
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a DZ-class vehicle on residential routes
Perform loading and collection duties throughout the shift
Complete residential service stops efficiently and safely
Handle repetitive lifting of 50–80 lbs
Service up to 800 stops per day
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns
Adhere to all company safety policies and Ministry of Transportation regulations
Maintain a qualified and customer-focused attitude
Qualifications
Valid Ontario DZ Driver's Licence
Clean driver's abstract and CVOR
Ability to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions
Solid work ethic and commitment to safety
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Previous residential collection, waste management, delivery, or route-driving experience is an asset
