Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/woman Automotive Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves performing comprehensive vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety. Duties
Conduct thorough diagnostics using advanced tools, schematics, and technical manuals to identify vehicle issues.
Perform repairs and maintenance on a wide range of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently.
Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures, including heavy lifting and working with potentially hazardous materials.
Assist with vehicle inspections, routine maintenance services, and component replacements.
Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each vehicle serviced.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs, timelines,



and maintenance recommendations.
Ensure all work meets dealership or industry standards for quality and safety.

Qualifications
Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician or Mechanic; dealership experience is highly preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly processes.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on vehicles in various positions.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnostics and repairs.
Customer service skills to explain repairs clearly and professionally.
Valid mechanic certification or journeyman/woman status preferred.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a quick-paced environment.
Prior experience with automotive repair, maintenance tasks, and vehicle troubleshooting is essential.
