Job Overview
Working one on one with children and youth with developmental disabilities or in group settings. Following individualized programs designed by an in office behaviour consultant.
Duties
Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
Synthesise the overall situation of the children and communicate the information to the parents
Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records
Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor
Discuss the progress and problems of children at staff meetings
Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
Plan and maintain an workplace that protects the health, security and well-being of children
Job Types: Full-time, Part time, Casual
Pay: $26.46-$27.36 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
