Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within our establishment. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring that all guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay. Experience in industrial cleaning, hotel, or custodial services is preferred.
Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas, to ensure they meet high cleanliness standards.
Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as per hotel policies.
Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a tidy workplace.
Vacuum carpets and mop floors in guest rooms and common areas.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products as needed.
Assist with laundry services when required to ensure timely availability of clean linens.
Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and fellow staff members.
Requirements
Previous experience in industrial cleaning, hotel, hospitality, or custodial roles is highly desirable.
Robust attention to detail with the ability to follow cleaning protocols effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced workplace.
Valuable physical stamina; ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 pounds).
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
