Duties
Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing for a variety of dog and cat (optional) breeds
Maintain a clean and safe grooming area, adhering to sanitation standards
Assess each pet’s coat, skin, and overall health, reporting any concerns to pet owners or management
Use grooming tools and equipment properly to achieve desired styles while ensuring pet comfort
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming needs and recommendations
Manage appointment schedules efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery
Handle heavy lifting of pets or equipment as needed with care and safety precautions
Ensure all grooming supplies are stocked and maintained properly
Skills
Proven experience in pet grooming is required
Robust customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients
Ability to handle heavy lifting of pets or equipment safely and comfortably
Compassionate attitude towards animals, with patience and gentle handling skills
Attention to detail to ensure high-quality grooming results
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of different breed standards and grooming techniques is a plus
