Job Description – Journeyman Technician

North Edmonton Kia is looking for a flat rate Journeyman Technician to join our very busy and growing service department! For the right candidate, we will help pay for moving expense and signing bonus up to $20,000.

Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair new and used make and off make vehicles
Knowledge of system components that will allow you to effectively diagnose issues
Understanding of preventative maintenance that would add value for the customer when recommended
Thoroughly inspect vehicles for any work that should be recommended to the customer
Knowledge of use of an array of tools
Understand and review work orders with the Service Manager
Knowledge of electronic diagnostic tools

Qualifications:
Possess a Journeyman Automotive Mechanic Certificate




Completion of requisite post secondary and training courses
Strong work ethic and problem solving skills
Work with a high level of reliability and integrity
Ability to meet physical demands of the job
A valid driver’s license
Experience with Kia is an asset
