We are the local Sales and Service Centre for Swagelok Company, a multinational leader in the manufacture of fluid system components for Oil and Gas, Nuclear Power, Pulp and Paper and many other industries. We are seeking a full-time permanent entry level associate to join our fabrication team in Ottawa.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform activities involved in the operations of the fabrication department. Tube bending, tube fitting installation, panel fabrication and testing. This position will work up to more complex activities over time. To start this person will learn to do very basic fabrication work.

Produce fabrication work to meet customer requirements.

Ensures compliance with safety policies, efficiency standards, inventory, and process improvements.

Proper maintenance of tools, equipment, and shop.

Qualifications and Skills:

Basic Mechanical skills and apptitude. We are looking for someone who has a basic understanding and comfort using hand tools.

Occasional travel within Canada and the U.S.A (Less than 10%)
