Join our dedicated team as a Cook/Dietary Aide and play a vital role in delivering nutritious, delicious meals that enhance the well-being and comfort of our residents.

Duties
Prepare and cook meals in accordance with dietary guidelines, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
Assist with meal service, including setting up dining areas, serving residents, and ensuring timely delivery of food.
Follow strict food safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe kitchen setting.
Support with food handling, storage, and inventory management to ensure freshness and compliance with health regulations.
Help with cleaning duties such as dishwashing, sanitizing kitchen surfaces, and maintaining overall cleanliness of food preparation areas.
Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal schedules and accommodate special dietary needs.
Provide friendly customer service to residents during meal times, fostering a positive dining atmosphere.

Requirements
Prior experience in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is preferred.




Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards.
Excellent time management skills to efficiently prepare meals and serve residents on schedule.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Must provide upon hiring:
A police check with Vulnerable sector within 6 months
2 step TB test, and if it is over 1 year ago, an annual 1 step
-Food handlers
