This Isn't a "Manage the Shift" Job. It's a "Build the Business" Job.
We're hiring a Store Leader in Training to take a store that isn't performing the way it should — and turn it around. Short-term, you'll run it solo. Once you've proven you can drive results on your own, you'll help us hire and train the sales team under you.
If you want to prove yourself, build something from scratch, and get paid on what you produce — this is that role.
What You'll Own (Phase 1 — Solo)
Full daily execution of the store, on your own
Proactive outbound sales — working phone lists, cold-calling local businesses, working events. You don't wait for the door to open
Lead follow-up and conversion discipline
Store operations (inventory, merchandising, opening/closing)
Clear, regular communication with ownership on what's working and what isn't

What You'll Own (Phase 2 — As the Store Grows)
Help hire the sales reps who'll work alongside you
Train current reps on the proactive, outbound standard — not order-taking
Build a team that goes out and finds the sale instead of waiting for it

What Success Looks Like
You're comfortable making calls, working a list, and showing up at businesses and events with no one telling you to




The store's numbers start moving because of what you're doing, not because of walk-in traffic
You earn the trust to start building a team under you
You operate independently — and want to

Compensation
Base salary + monthly bonus/commission tied to store results
Base: $42,000–$50,000 OTE of $65,000–$80,000

Who This Role Is Built For
You've done outbound or proactive sales before — cold calling, B2B prospecting, field or event sales (pure retail-counter experience alone isn't the fit here)
You can work alone and self-manage a full day without supervision
You're coachable now, and want to lead others later
Telecom experience (TELUS, Rogers, Bell) is a plus, not a requirement

This is not an entry-level role, and it's not a "stand behind the counter" role. If you've proven you can go out and generate business — through calls, doors, or events — we're open to giving you a shot and building your career around it.
