Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendants to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. This role involves working closely with clients to promote their well-being, independence, and comfort. Ideal candidates will have experience or interest in assisted living and senior care. The position offers an chance to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through attentive caregiving and support.

Duties
Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Provide medication administration and ensure proper adherence to care plans
Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a secure and comfortable environment
Support residents with mobility.
Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals

Requirements




Prior experience in assisted living or nursing home
Knowledge of medication administration, and patient care techniques is advantageous
Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a caregiving team
Valid certification as a PCA or relevant training is a plus but not required
A Vulnerable Sector Check within the last 6 months in valuable standing is required as a condition of employment.
Must be reliable and committed to providing high-quality care
Must provide two references when applying
