Job Summary
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to coordinate transportation and logistics operations within our supply chain. The ideal candidate will manage freight schedules, communicate effectively with drivers and clients, and utilize various transportation management systems to ensure timely delivery of goods. This role offers an prospect to work in a dynamic environment supporting shipping, receiving, and overall supply chain efficiency.

Responsibilities
Schedule and dispatch freight using transportation management systems such as SyteLine and AS400
Coordinate with drivers, carriers, and clients to ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments
Monitor shipment statuses and update relevant databases accurately through data entry and analysis skills
Manage shipping & receiving processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and customer requirements
Maintain multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette to handle inquiries and provide updates
Analyze freight data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimize logistics operations within a 3PL environment
Ensure proper documentation for freight movement, including shipping labels,



manifests, and other necessary paperwork
Assist in troubleshooting logistical issues promptly to minimize delays

Skills
Proficiency with transportation management systems such as SyteLine, AS400, and other shipping & receiving software
Solid data entry skills with high accuracy and typing speed
Excellent communication skills for effective coordination via multi-line phone systems and in-person interactions
Analysis skills to interpret freight data and improve operational efficiency
Knowledge of supply chain processes, freight management, and 3PL logistics operations
Familiarity with shipping regulations and documentation requirements
Professional phone etiquette for handling inquiries from drivers, clients, and internal teams
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
