Belledune Homes & Construction Ltd. is hiring a skilled Carpenter for our residential construction team.

Our projects include major renovations, additions, custom homes, new construction and exterior work. We are looking for someone dependable who works safely, produces quality work and wants to grow with the company.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Complete framing and general carpentry work
Assist with additions, renovations, custom homes and exterior projects
Install windows, doors, siding, backing and other building components
Read plans, measurements and project instructions
Work efficiently with the Lead Carpenter and project team
Identify questions or problems before they affect the work
Maintain a clean, organized and safe job site
Care for company tools, equipment and client property
Complete assigned work to BDH quality standards

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
At least three years of residential carpentry experience preferred
Experience with framing, renovations and exterior construction
Ability to use standard carpentry tools safely
Ability to read a tape measure and follow plans and instructions




Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to perform physical construction work in varying conditions

Carpentry apprenticeship training or Red Seal certification is an asset but is not required.
