Job Title: Host/Hostess – Full-Time & Part time

Location: The Boss, Banff, AB

Wage: $17 – $21/hour + Monthly Gratuities

The Boss is a lively casual fine dining restaurant in the heart of Banff, offering a menu that blends local ingredients with global inspiration. We’re known for exceptional service, a vibrant atmosphere, and creating memorable guest experiences.

Position Overview:

We’re looking for friendly, professional, and organized individuals to join our front-of-house team as Hosts/Hostesses. As the first point of contact for our guests, you’ll set the tone for their dining experience by providing a warm welcome and smooth seating process. We are looking to begin filling the positions Mid to Late November, in anticipation for the holidays and new year.

What You’ll Do:
Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival
Manage reservations and waitlists using our booking system




Communicate effectively with servers and management to ensure smooth service flow
Keep the host stand and front entry clean, organized, and inviting
Assist with guest inquiries and provide accurate information about our menu and venue

What We’re Looking For:
Previous hosting or customer service experience is an asset but not required – we’ll train the right person
Professional, friendly, and calm under pressure
Solid communication and organizational skills
Team player with a positive, guest-focused mindset

Details:
Wage: $17 – $21/hour + monthly gratuities
Both full time and part-time positions available
Positions start in November, with opportunities for development into serving prior to the spring / summer season.
