TFS is offering a permanent position for an Operational Excellence Analyst within the Business Innovation Department. The Analyst is responsible for supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the enterprise by collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify issues, document end-to-end processes, conduct data analysis, and develop effective countermeasures that enhance quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role contributes significantly to building organizational capability, establishing standard work protocols, and fostering a culture of kaizen in alignment with Toyota Way principles.

The Operational Excellence

Analyst reports to the Manager of Business Innovation and will be based at the Markham Head Office.

What you will be doing:

Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving

- Lead cross functional project teams to identify problems, map processes, analyze data, and develop and implement solutions that address root causes
- Apply Toyota Way methodologies including TPS, TBP,



to support structured problem solving, standardization of work, and visual process mapping
- Connect improvement opportunities that exist between departments as part of the broader TFS value stream
- Support end to end process improvement across operations, technology, and customer facing teams
- Facilitate workshops/training on Toyota Way methodologies (ex. TPS, TBP, JKK)

OE Framework and Engagement

- Sustain and continuously improve the Operational Excellence Engagement Framework and SharePoint Site
- Enable consistent use of OE tools, templates, and practices across the organization
- Support planning and execution of kaizen events, workshops, and improvement cycles; including the annual regional Kaizen competition.
- Create strategies, frameworks, and learning assets that support operational excellence and transformation priorities

What you bring:

- Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience leading operational excellence, continuous improvement, or business process transformation with a strong track record of measurable results.
- Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to work with various partners, vendors and stakeholders to build alignment and consensus on key initiatives




- Demonstrated ability to design and implement process controls, operating mechanisms, and benefit tracking that link to financial and customer outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Team-oriented, flexible, and proactive with an ability to work independently and a strong desire to learn
- Ability to work flexible hours and in-office minimum three days a week

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $74,500 - $94,000. The offered salary will be based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills and qualifications.
