Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Assistant to join our team. As a Yard Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to warehouse management, heavy equipment operation, and shipping/receiving. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to lift heavy objects and operate machinery.

Responsibilities
Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles
Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts
Assist with warehouse distribution and organization
Use warehouse management systems to track inventory and shipments
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow

Skills
Experience in operating heavy equipment, such as forklifts
Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
Familiarity with warehouse management systems




Experience in shipping/receiving and warehouse operations
Robust attention to detail and organizational skills
Experience in the telecommunications industry an asset but not required
