Our overnight health care aides monitor the building throughout the night for emergency purposes for our senior residents. We are looking for a health care aide who is able to work Monday-Friday nights from 10:30PM to 7:00AM. This position also requires on-call duties at our other Homestead buildings for vacation/sick coverage.

Duties include

- Building rounds every hour
- Administering first aid
- Assisting residents to use the washroom
- Checking vitals, temperature and blood pressure as required
- Providing simple wellness checks
- Escorting residents to their suites
- Calling emergency services or contacts as needed
- Answering the building phones
- Updating a communication log

Health care aide certification is required. Prior experience is recommended.
