Title: OS&D; Clerk
Pay: $24.00/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Contract Length: 1-Month Contract
Location: Montreal, QC

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized OS&D; Clerk for a 1-month contract. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in transportation or logistics, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace. In this role, you will be responsible for handling overages, shortages, and damaged freight claims while ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up with customers and carriers.

Responsibilities:
Investigate and process OS&D; (Overage, Shortage & Damage) claims and reports
Communicate with terminals, drivers, customers, and warehouse staff regarding freight discrepancies
Maintain accurate records and update internal systems with claim details and shipment statuses




Follow up on missing or damaged freight and coordinate resolutions in a timely manner
Review shipping documents, manifests, and invoices for accuracy
Assist with general administrative and customer service duties as required
Ensure compliance with company procedures and transportation regulations

Requirements:
Previous experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, or OS&D; preferred
Robust computer and data entry skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required
