General Duties:

- Operates packaging line(s) as scheduled, ensuring minimal downtime and waste
- Operates all packaging lines as needed (Overwrap line, Top Seal line, Viscon line, Multipond Slice line, Bulk line, ensuring minimal downtime and waste, with minimal supervision or guidance.
- Records required documentation pertinent to packaging line operation on paper as well as entering into an iPad.
- Verifies dates and codes of product
- Loads labels and makes adjustments to the line according to packaging orders
- Executes customer orders as directed ensuring the use of correct label, date code and any other custom er requirements.
- Directs associates on the line, advises when changeover is required, ensures customer product quality
- Promotes a clean and safe working environment

• Capable of identifying obvious malfunctions of the equipment being used • Input all relative information per SKU in iPad
- Inputs all relative information per SKU on checklists.
- Performs any other duties as assigned
- Provides training to new line operators and GPA Level 1 and Level 2 as required.
- Fill all the QA records on the line on daily basis.
- Print all the required QA records, case labels, Production order stickers, Pallet tags and other checklists required by packing operation.





• Perform SAP scanning by using scan gun and tablet to process the mushroom order. • Count the packing material inventory on weekly and monthly basis.
- Restock packing supplies at their designated area.
- Prepare SAP Production order book.
- Clean and sanitize the packing line as per SSOP.
- Embrace and support the Highline culture and values, acting as a brand ambassador at all times.
- Interact with others in a manner that promotes respect, confidentiality, and dignity.
- Develop and actively foster an engaged work force displaying professionalism.
- Adheres to the Safety Policies, including use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety equipment.
- Reports unsafe conditions immediately to the supervisor.
- Reports all incidents, injuries and near misses to the supervisor immediately.
- Cooperates in the Early and Protected Return to Work Program if an injury or medical illness requires accommodation.
- Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) as trained.
- Adheres to all quality standards per customer specifications.

Qualifications:

- Must be at least 16 years of age.

- Must be eligible to work in Canada without restrictions.

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment





- Two years of experience in packaging or food production or one year of experience as a packing line operator

Hours of Work:

- 5 to 6 days / week

- Approximately 30 to 60 hours / week; 8 to 14 hours / day

- Public Holidays / Weekends as scheduled

- Daily shift end times vary based on production needs

Earnings:

- $20.91 - $22.48 Hourly

- Premium of $0.50 for hours worked after 6:00p.m.
