Our Elora clinic is looking to hire a Part-Time Administrator (Evening shifts). Our ideal candidate must have strong computer skills, customer service, multitasking, and excellent communications skills. Primary responsibilities include; front desk reception, booking appointments for a multidisciplinary clinic, assisting with billing, and receiving payments from clients. This role also includes clinic organizing, tidying and laundry.
Job Qualifications
Are you an experienced client-centered health care administrator? Are you ready to be immersed in a fast-paced, high-volume clinic, offering front-line customer service, billing support, and schedule management. If so, we have an opening for a part-time permanent health-care administrator/receptionist.
As Administrator, you will provide support to our Elora team with reception coverage, client bookings, billings and processing of insurance claims. We are looking for a highly organized and personable administrator with critical thinking and effective communication. Experience with Practice Perfect, EMR or CRM is A MUST for this role, as managing client data is the bulk of this role.

- Medical Office Administration, 1 year
- Experience with Practice Perfect or similar EMR is preferred
- Diploma in Health Office Administration is preferred
- Critical Thinking and attention to detail
- The ability to multitask/prioritize
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- The ability to maintain confidentiality/Discretion
Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Collect customer payment at the time of service and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Managing schedules for practitioners, while being able to coordinate appointments between multiple providers
- Provide front-facing customer service for high-volume clinic attending to multiple phone lines, and responding to client emails
- Greet clients and visitors upon arrival while providing excellent customer service for all questions or concerns.
- Complete general clerical tasks including scheduling maintenance, faxing/scanning paperwork and new client intake
- Register new clients in line with acceptable standards of the clinic; support clients in filling in medical and insurance forms at the clinic to avoid errors and inaccurate information.
- Always exercise client confidentiality and adhering to privacy policy
- Ensure that the client reception area is cleaned, fully stocked with clinic supplies and materials and daily laundry.
- Other administrative tasks as assigned by the Clinic Lead Administrator
