Position Overview

We are hiring a Food Production & Cake Finishing Associate to support preparation, decorating, and order fulfillment within a small-scale, residential food production setting. This role focuses on hands-on production tasks, product finishing, and packaging while following food safety and quality standards.

Core Responsibilities

- Prepare cake components, fillings, frostings, and dessert elements
- Finish cakes using piping, icing, and basic decorative techniques
- Assemble, label, and pack customer orders for pickup or delivery
- Follow sanitation, hygiene, and food handling procedures consistently
- Support daily production flow through ingredient prep and batching
- Clean and sanitize tools, equipment, and work surfaces
- Organize ingredients and packaging supplies

Required Qualifications




- Experience working in a food production or commercial kitchen environment
- Valid Food Handler Certification (mandatory)
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on cake decorating experience
- Ability to maintain accuracy and quality in repetitive production tasks
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting light kitchen items
- Willingness to learn new preparation and finishing methods

Work Schedule
- Mandatory availability on Mondays and Tuesdays
- On-call availability during high-volume periods

Pay: $17.60 per hour
