Job Posting: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Neskonlith Indian Band Type: Full-Time The Neskonlith Indian Band is a dynamic Indigenous community committed to long-term sustainability and prosperity for its members. We are seeking a forward-thinking CFO to lead our financial strategy. The CFO will lead all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, reporting and regulatory compliance (including the Indian Act and the Financial Transparency Act).

The successful candidate must be willing to relocate as this position is in office. Develop and execute a financial strategy aligned with our community goals. Ensure compliance with federal/provincial legislation and Indigenous-governance requirements.

Lead budget planning, forecasting and cash-flow/investment management. Manage external audits and act as liaison with auditors. Supervise and support the finance team. Chartered accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) required.





Minimum 5 years in senior financial management (experience in Indigenous governance or public sector preferred). Minimum 3-5 years working with Indigenous Bands and governance. Strong understanding of the Indian Act, Financial Transparency Act, and relevant regulation.

Has experience managing corporate evnironments Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, analysis and reporting. Proficiency with financial management software and Microsoft Office. Criminal-record check required.
