Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, take orders accurately, and ensure a positive dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, food industry knowledge, and a passion for hospitality.

Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems is preferred but we will train the right candidates. This position will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and address their immmediate needs
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems (we use Square for Restaurants)
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Assist in setting up tables, cleaning work areas, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery.
- Manage guest inquiries professionally, providing excellent guest services and support.




- Maintain effective time management to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.

Skills

- Experience with POS systems, especially Square for Restaurants, is highly desirable.
- Solid knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing.
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred but if you're an awesome person, we can always train you
- Good communication skills to interact clearly with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and guest services standards.
