Be a vital part of youth development as a part-time Youth Mentor in London. This role offers a unique chance to provide support to youth programs while building essential life skills. In this regular position, you will work 22.5 hours weekly within the Early Childhood, School-Age, and Adolescent Programs.
Collaborating within Horizons and across Family and Community Services, you will help youth transition into adulthood by engaging in both virtual and in-person activities. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is needed. Key Responsibilities:
- Support youth services both in-person and online
- Develop accessible resources for youth with disabilities
- Facilitate skills-building events for social engagement
- Co-lead youth advisory councils and gather feedback
- Assist in planning and administrative tasks Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year post-secondary education related to youth services
- Lived experience with a disability
- Solution Focused Coaching skills
- Strong communication abilities
