Kickstart your welding career at Johnson Controls as a Welder Apprentice. Gain hands-on experience with MIG, ARC, and TIG welding in a energetic work setting. As a Welder Apprentice, you will fabricate custom prototypes, jigs, and fixtures under the supervision of experienced Journeyperson Welders.
This role requires reading blueprints, operating various welding equipment, and completing technical inspections. You will also participate in continuous improvement initiatives to meet production quotas. Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints for accurate fabrication
Operate multiple welding processes and equipment
Conduct repairs and modifications on metal products
Monitor material usage and report issues
Maintain detailed reports on tasks and projects Requirements:
Registered as an Apprentice Welder in Alberta
Valid certification in GMAW and SMAW
Ability to work under supervision and independently
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
