Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Payroll Analyst role based in Mississauga, ON.

The Payroll

Analyst will manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees, including data entry, validation of time and attendance records, and ensuring timely and accurate payroll runs.

Responsibilities include handling payroll taxes and statutory deductions, administering garnishments, and maintaining payroll records in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves reconciling payroll accounts, supporting accounting with payroll-related journal entries,



and preparing regular reports and analyses for management.

The Payroll

Analyst will also respond to employee inquiries, assist with process improvements, and collaborate with HR and Finance to maintain productive and compliant payroll operations.

Qualifications

- Strong payroll administration experience, including end-to-end processing and maintenance of accurate payroll records.
- Knowledge of payroll taxes and regulations, with proven ability to manage statutory deductions and compliance requirements.
- Experience handling garnishments and other payroll-related court or government orders.
- Solid accounting skills, including reconciliations, journal entries, and understanding of payroll’s impact on financial statements.
- Well-developed analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify variances, and recommend improvements.
- Proficiency with payroll software and MS Excel; comfort working with databases and reporting tools.
- Strong attention to detail, discretion with confidential information, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders.
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; payroll certification is an asset.
- Experience with Canadian payroll legislation and practices, particularly in Ontario, is strongly preferred.
