Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Doctor to oversee the health, productivity, and welfare of pigs through effective veterinary care and livestock management practices.

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, treat, and prevent diseases affecting pigs.
Oversee breeding and reproductive health programs.
Develop and monitor appropriate nutrition and feeding programs.
Implement and maintain effective farm biosecurity measures.
Monitor pig health, growth, and overall productivity.
Maintain accurate veterinary, treatment, and production records.
Train and supervise farm staff on animal health, hygiene, and biosecurity practices.
Respond to veterinary emergencies and implement appropriate treatment protocols.

Requirements




Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent.
4–5 years of relevant experience in pig management and veterinary practice.
Strong knowledge of swine diseases, treatment, and prevention.
Valuable leadership, communication, and team-management skills.

Preferred Skills
Swine reproduction and breeding management.
Pig genetics and herd improvement.
Farm biosecurity and disease prevention.
Up-to-date pig farming and herd management techniques.
