This is an independent contractor role aligned with the academic calendar.

We are currently hiring for the September 2026 - June 2027 school year.

Responsibilities
Plan lessons and resources
Teach techniques based on RCM or other curriculum
Help students prepare for upcoming performances/RCM exams/festivals
Follow studio policies (to be discussed during interview)
To interact and stay organized with studio manager and director
Respond to emails or text quickly
Punctual start and end of lesson time with each student, along with perfect attendance
Organized in keeping tabs on schedule, demos, and make-ups.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Excellent piano skills




A valuable knowledge of pop music/jazz music/ classical music/ RCM curriculum
Patient and enthusiastic
Good communication skills
Self -motivated and positive organizational skills
A positive sense of humor and comfortable talking with students and parents

Education & Experience:
Teacher must be familiar with genres other than Classical
MUST have some music certifications , and/or degree related to music
Experience in teaching children.

Job Types: Part time, Fixed term contract Pay: $35.00 per hour
