WindsorEvents.ca is looking for freelance video editors with experience creating paid social advertising creative, particularly short-form video ads for Meta, Instagram, TikTok, and similar platforms.

We're specifically looking for editors who understand that an advertisement isn't just a positive-looking video. It needs to stop the scroll, establish a compelling hook, communicate an offer, maintain attention, and drive action.

What You'll Do

Projects may include
Editing short-form video ads for Meta, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
Turning raw event footage into performance-focused advertising creative
Creating multiple hooks, openings, CTAs, and creative variations for testing
Editing UGC-style and direct-response creative
Creating event promotional and ticket-sales advertisements
Selecting footage based on the marketing objective rather than simply aesthetics
Adding captions, graphics, music, motion, and other elements that improve performance
Producing variations for creative testing
Iterating on ads based on performance data and feedback
Editing organic social content, event recaps, and promotional videos as required





What We're Looking For Paid advertising creative experience is strongly preferred.

You should understand concepts such as:
Hooks and thumb-stop rate
Audience retention
Direct-response creative
Calls to action
Creative testing and iteration
UGC-style advertising
Different stages of customer awareness
Ad fatigue and creative variation
Editing for conversions rather than views alone

Experience working with performance marketers, media buyers, advertising agencies, e-commerce brands, ticketed events, entertainment, or other direct-response advertisers is particularly valuable.
