Join our dynamic team as a Vac Truck Operator, Water Truck Operator, and/or Swamper (the role will rotate between the three roles - as part of a 5-man crew), where you will play a vital role in supporting a gold mine projects through skilled heavy equipment operation and safety oversight. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with well-maintained machinery, ensuring effective fluid transportation and site safety. Your expertise will help keep projects moving smoothly while maintaining high standards of safety and operational excellence.

Duties
Operate vac trucks, water trucks, and auxiliary equipment to support mining activities.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of work zones, including positioning hoses, valves, and safety barriers.
Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure optimal functioning and report any mechanical issues promptly
Support heavy equipment operators during site operations
Maintain a clean and organized work area around trucks and equipment to promote safety and efficiency
Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently to prevent accidents or injuries on-site




Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow throughout the project

Requirements
Prior experience operating vac trucks, water trucks, or similar heavy equipment in construction or industrial settings
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic issues with trucks and auxiliary equipment
Ability to operate additional machinery such as loaders, backhoes, excavators, graders, or dozers - not necessary, but is an asset
Valid driver’s license with a Q endorsement (air brakes) with a clean driving record for protected operation of large vehicles.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and quality standards
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning current skills and supporting colleagues
