Join the Pharmacy Alberta team as a CT-SMORE (Credentialed Trainer - Subject Matter Operational Readiness Expert). Reporting to the Manager, Systems Training & Translation, this hybrid role combines training excellence and operational informatics support, with approximately 50% of time dedicated to Credentialed Trainer responsibilities and 50% to Subject Matter Operational Readiness Expert responsibilities. As a Credentialed Trainer (CT), you will deliver virtual Epic training to frontline users of the Willow and Pharmacy modules. Working closely with Senior Trainers and operational stakeholders, you will facilitate engaging learning experiences, review and support maintenance of training materials, and help ensure users are confident and proficient in their use of Epic workflows. Success in this role requires strong facilitation skills, the ability to adapt to diverse learning needs and a commitment to delivering excellent customer support. As a Subject Matter Operational Readiness Expert (SMORE), you will support the effective and optimal use of medication management technologies, including Epic and the Warehouse Management System (WMS). You will investigate and resolve informatics-related issues, identify workflow improvement opportunities, collaborate with analyst teams, clinicians, and operational leaders, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions that enhance medication-use processes and patient care. This role requires strong analytical skills, operational knowledge, and the ability to bridge clinical, technical, and business perspectives. Together, these responsibilities provide a unique opportunity to influence both user adoption and the ongoing optimization of pharmacy technology systems across Alberta.
Description:
As a Pharmacist I,
you will be responsible for the safe, effective and efficient preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical services. You will manage medication therapy for patients, both initially and on an ongoing basis. In addition, you will provide assessment, intervention and resolution of potential or actual drug-related problems and oversee activities related to compounding and packaging.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).
Additional Required Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a health systems patient care setting. Previous experience with pharmacy clinical information system support as a SMORE, Willow CT/Senior Trainer, Pharmacy SACI, Pharmacy Analyst/App Lead or Pharmacy Connect Care Implementation Lead is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Credentialing in the Willow Inpatient, Ambulatory and Oncology training tracks. Ability to extrapolate knowledge and apply a provincial view based on experience in different pharmacy settings. Experience in adult education. Key skills required include effective communication, strong interpersonal abilities, creative problem-solving, and adaptability.
