Veterinary students can participate in a valuable externship lasting two to eight weeks at our NVA hospital.

This experience allows you to work closely with Associate Veterinarians, handling patient histories and physical exams, and actively participating in treatment planning, diagnostics, and surgical procedures. The externship also focuses on developing your communication skills within a collaborative team setting. Key Responsibilities:
Collect and analyze comprehensive patient histories




Perform physical exams under qualified supervision
Assist in formulating effective treatment strategies
Observe and help with surgeries and dental care
Foster client relationships through explicit communication Requirements:
