We are currently seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic to join our team at a busy pallet manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing company trailers and related equipment to ensure they remain secure and operational.

Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailers.
Inspect trailers to identify mechanical, electrical, and safety issues.
Repair and replace brakes, suspension components, tires, lights, axles, and other trailer components.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems.
Perform welding and fabrication repairs as required.
Complete regular safety inspections and maintenance checks.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with workplace safety standards.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.





Qualifications & Requirements
Previous experience as a Trailer Mechanic is required.
Valid trade certification/licence or appropriate mechanical qualification is an asset/required, depending on provincial requirements.
Robust knowledge of trailer mechanical systems, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
Welding and fabrication experience is an asset.
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues independently.
Must have your own basic mechanic tools.
Solid attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to lift and handle heavy parts and equipment.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
