Physics Masters – AI Training Specialist

About The Role

We're looking for Masters-level physicists to help train and evaluate some of the world's most advanced AI models. Your deep understanding of physics will directly shape how AI reasons through complex problems — from classical mechanics to quantum theory.

This is a fully remote, versatile contract role designed for physicists who want to do intellectually stimulating work on their own schedule. No AI background required — just strong physics fundamentals and a sharp analytical mind.

- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

- Design challenging, graduate-level physics problems to rigorously test AI reasoning and problem-solving capabilities
- Develop clear, well-structured solutions with step-by-step logical explanations
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, depth, and quality of scientific reasoning
- Collaborate with research teams to build and refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate to Masters-level physics topics
- Provide expert feedback that directly improves how leading AI models handle STEM content

Who You Are





- Currently pursuing or holding a Masters degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely related field
- Strong command of advanced physics domains including mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and more
- Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and concisely in writing
- Detail-oriented and comfortable providing structured, critical feedback
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and asynchronously
- No prior AI or data annotation experience required

Nice to Have

- Experience with data annotation, evaluation systems, or quality assessment
- Familiarity with AI language models or benchmarking methodologies
- Background in teaching, tutoring, or academic writing
