Physics Masters – AI Training Specialist

About The Role

We're looking for physics experts to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models being developed by the world's leading AI research labs. Your deep understanding of physics will directly shape how AI reasons through complex scientific problems — making a real impact on the future of intelligent systems.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for Masters-level physicists who want to put their expertise to work in an exciting, high-impact field — no prior AI experience required.

- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

- Design advanced physics problems spanning mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, and more to rigorously test AI reasoning
- Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with logically sound, well-structured explanations
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, depth, and quality of scientific reasoning
- Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks across undergraduate to Masters-level physics topics
- Provide structured, actionable feedback that directly improves model performance

Who You Are





- Currently pursuing or have completed a Masters degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely related field
- Strong physics reasoning and problem-solving skills across multiple advanced domains
- Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing
- Detail-oriented with a rigorous, analytical approach to quality
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously
- No prior AI or machine learning experience required

Nice to Have

- Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation workflows
- Familiarity with large language models or AI benchmarking
- Background in teaching, tutoring, or academic writing
