Role Description The Plant Operator role at Momo Factory is a full-time, on-site position based in Richmond, BC.

The Plant

Operator is responsible for operating production equipment safely and efficiently to support the preparation and packaging of food products. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring plant operations, adjusting machine settings, performing basic equipment checks, and coordinating with the production team to meet daily output and quality targets. The role also involves following food safety and hygiene standards, completing routine logs and documentation, assisting with inventory handling, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Operator may support loading and unloading materials, participate in minor maintenance tasks, and communicate promptly about any equipment or safety issues.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in plant operations and understanding of food production processes.
- Proficiency in machine operation and basic equipment maintenance tasks.
- Experience with quality control practices in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
- Ability to safely handle materials as needed.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and maintain accurate production records.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team.
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or similar plant setting is an asset.
- Availability for full-time on-site work in Richmond, BC, including possible evening or weekend shifts as required.
