Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Room Educator to create a nurturing, engaging, and educational workplace for young children in our care. Duties
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration
Support children in developing essential social skills such as sharing, cooperation, and communication
Monitor and document each child's developmental progress, noting milestones and areas needing additional support
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages independence and curiosity
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's daily experiences and developmental updates
Collaborate with team members to plan activities that incorporate bilingual elements (English and French) when applicable




Assist children with daily routines including feeding, diapering, dressing, and rest periods

Qualifications
Proven experience working with young children in a childcare or early childhood education setting
Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific teaching strategies for toddlers
Bilingual skills in English and French are highly desirable to support diverse learner needs
Experience working with children with disabilities or special educational needs is preferred
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members
Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities and documentation efficiently
Proficiency in computer operation for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes
Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to manage time effectively in a dynamic environment
Formal training or certification in early childhood education or childcare is required; additional experience in special education is a plus

Pay: $15.20-$18.50 per hour
