Responsibilities
Safely operate heavy-duty trucks to transport goods over long or short distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal condition for driving
Load and unload cargo with care, including performing heavy lifting when necessary, to prevent damage and ensure proper handling
Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, manifests, and delivery receipts
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues promptly
Follow all safety protocols during driving, loading, unloading,



and while on the road to ensure personal safety and that of others
Assist with yard duties as needed, including vehicle maintenance checks and yard organization

Requirements
Valid Class 5 driver’s license
Proven experience in driving large trucks or commercial vehicles with a clean driving record
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading or unloading processes
Solid knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and route planning
Excellent communication skills for transparent interactions with team members and clients
Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and perform manual tasks when required
Flexibility to work varying shifts based on operational needs
