JOB SUMMARY

AZ Truck Driver’s are vital to our supply chain, they are responsible for the protected and timely delivery of goods to our customers while being skilled and courteous. Robust consideration will be given to hard working individuals with previous experience driving trucks with 18 speed manual transmissions, with reefer’s, flatbeds, or comparable experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES
Drive within the GTA to deliver goods to customers
Deliver shipments dock to dock
Multiple drop deliveries
Loads to and from Gwillimdale North (New Liskeard)
Conducts thorough prior-to-use vehicle and tractor-trailer inspections for mechanical and safety issues,



report problems to supervisor and/or maintenance personnel
Operates vehicle in compliance with provincial regulations, as well as, company policies and procedures
Refuel and clean vehicle
Report road incidents to supervisor
Keep a daily driver log accurately
Deliver product to customers safely and on time
Maintain a positive attitude with customers
Keep commercial driver license up to date
Weekend trips maybe required
Other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certifications:
AZ license Required
3 Years’ Experience Required
Clean drivers abstract (please submit with resume)

Skills:
Operation Monitoring
Attention to detail
Troubleshooting
Demonstrates professionalism during Customer interactions
Agricultural Equipment and Vehicle operation an asset

Abilities:
Arm-Hand Steadiness
Multi-limb Coordination
Manual Dexterity
Finger Dexterity
Control Precision
Sound discrimination

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Ability to throw straps to secure loads
Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending.
