Job Description

Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)

Licensed Millwright to join Sofina Foods’ Maintenance department on the night shift.

Responsibilities
Teardown and setup production equipment as needed, including completing changeovers as per production schedule.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues as they arise.
Provide support to maintenance staff such as Electricians and Power Engineers.
Perform regular maintenance routines without direct supervision and advise the Production or Maintenance Manager of any issues that could impact production.
Act as an advisor to Machine Operators for non‑mechanical issues.
Complete Preventative and Predictive Maintenance tasks as per the company’s extensive PM Program.

Qualifications
Must have a 433A license.
Experience with fabrication.
Experience in installation and repair of machines and equipment is an asset.
Experience in stainless steel fabrications and repair is an asset.
Competent communication skills,



both oral and written.
Ability to work after‑hours tasks with minimal supervision.

Regular Hours of Work
Night shift (10:00 PM to 6:00 AM)

Compensation
Licensed: $42.55 per hour
