Empower students as a Term Instructor in Indigenous Human Services at NVIT starting September 2026. Teach essential courses and support learners' growth in a hybrid mode. NVIT is seeking qualified Term Instructors to deliver courses within the Indigenous Human Services Program.

Ideal candidates should possess a Master of Social Work Degree and have experience teaching post-secondary courses, particularly with Aboriginal adult learners. You will engage students in interactive learning that prepares them for careers in non-profit agencies and Indigenous communities. Key Responsibilities:
Teach IHMS 110, IHMS 120, and IHMS 130 courses
Utilize hybrid teaching model, both face-to-face and online
Foster a positive classroom workplace
Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learner needs
Contribute to the overall life of NVIT's community Requirements:
Master of Social Work Degree (MSW) is required
Experience in post-secondary education
Knowledge of Moodle, Teams, and Outlook
Robust interpersonal and teaching skills
Understanding of Indigenous knowledge systems Drive impactful learning experiences through innovative teaching in Indigenous Human Services at NVIT.
