Responsibilities
- When casting is received from the wash-out area, checks if all shell material has been removed.
- Identifies the router card the aluminum tag and the melt number.
- Visually inspects parts for damage, cold shuts, cracks, inclusions, etc.
- Uses vibrator etch machine for castings, test bars coupons.
- Uses boroscope and cleaning tools to clean flashing, core material and small shell in all areas
- Performs other duties as required.
- Respects the values and code of ethics of the company.
- Respects the Setting, Health & Safety programs of the company.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to use measuring instruments.
- Ability to handle hoists
- Visual dexterity
- Manual dexterity
- Uses sound judgment
