Penny's Hot Chicken is an Established chicken joint looking to bring the delicious, fresh, hearty, and SPICY chicken to Kitchener-Waterloo. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who have a passion for food, innovative ideas, and a SPICY personality to build our team!

Frying experience is a huge plus!

Full-time and part-time opportunities available.

PRIMARY DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES
Fluency of the entire menu
Working diligently to prepare key ingredients for lunch and dinner service
Working alongside fellow Team Members during busy lunch and dinner rushes to prepare meals
Cashier and support roles




Other duties include storage runs as well as general cleaning duties including mopping of floors and assisting in the general clean up of our shops at day end

QUALITIES + QUALIFICATIONS IN IDEAL CANDIDATE Extremely well organized and have a desire to be the best at what you do

Neat and tidy personal appearance and hygiene an appreciation and love for the details

Energetic and positive as well as dependable

Ability to work quickly (speed is important in this role)

Ability to clearly follow recipes and prepare food carefully and consistently

Prior experience in a restaurant kitchen/hospitality setting is required.

Frying experience a plus!

Job Types: Full time, Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$25.00 per hour

Experience
cooking: 1 year (preferred)
Fry Cook: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
Food Protected, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
