We have a new job vacancy for a swine technician on family owned hog farm Manitoba
We are looking for a Swine tech who is flexible and self motivated.
The ideal candidate will have self-motivation and drive, and a desire to achieve goals.
Primary responsibilities will involve working in the breeding and farrowing departments.
Maintenance skills and general pig experience would be a huge asset.
Training will be provided if you have none.
Qualifications
Mechanical knowledge related to farm operations
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks
Experience with farm machinery and equipment maintenance
Solid problem-solving skills in a farm setting
Familiarity with swine care and management practices
