Join our agile agricultural team as a Swine Herdsperson and become a vital part of ensuring the health, well-being, and productivity of our swine herd. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for daily animal care, maintaining clean and secure facilities, and supporting the overall operation of our pig farming enterprise. Duties
Provide daily care for swine, including feeding, watering, and monitoring health status
Vaccinating pigs, shipping, receiving, pressure washing and disinfecting.
Assist with routine herd health checks and report any signs of illness or distress promptly
Perform heavy lifting tasks involved in moving feed bags, supplies, or equipment around the farm
Maintain cleanliness of animal housing, pens, and surrounding areas to promote a healthy workplace




Conduct regular inspections of farm infrastructure and mechanical systems to ensure proper operation and safety

Skills
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on farm machinery and equipment
Ability to lift heavy loads safely and consistently throughout the workday
Experience or familiarity with farm machinery operation is highly desirable
Strong work ethic with attention to detail in animal husbandry practices
Good physical stamina to handle the demands of outdoor work in varying weather conditions
Clear communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting observations accurately
